Community First Choice & In-Home Support Services (IHSS) Program
What We Do
Children covered by Colorado Medicaid who have developmental disabilities and/or delays—such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Seizure Disorders, and other medical needs—may qualify for In-Home Support Services (IHSS). This program helps families provide the extra care their child needs at home.
Covered Services
Bathing, Dressing, Feeding, Meal Preparation, Toileting, Medication Management, etc. Most, if not all, are already being provided by you or your family.
Paid Caregiver
A family member or close family friend becomes an employee of Colorado Kids Home Care as a paid caregiver, providing the support they are already giving to their child

We bring everything to you—onboarding, admissions, and more—right in your home at your convenience, ensuring you have everything needed for success.

Our Services
Health Maintenence
Health Maintenence activities includes assistance with skilled health-related activities that are typically provided by a certified or licensed attendant, such as a CNA, LPN or RN. In IHSS, the Nurse Practice Act has been waived so that members have the flexibility to hire and train staff without certifications or licensure.
